My Senior year!!!!! 09 Grad student

My last memory in high school is going to be me graduating. I will never forget all the great times I had at Piper High all the great times will be flashing in my head as I walk the stage.I had my doubts in the beginning but now I know that I would never have it any other way. I learned so much in Spanish and Biology. Journalism taught me how to share ideas and I enjoyed blogging. I think I will continue to do this to share my thoughts on things I have observed and go through. I can't wait to walk the stage and get my diploma. That will surely be the best feeling. I can't believe that I'm done with schoool. Now my main focus is going to be college and my career. What ever happens I have to make something of myself and I will never forget Piper. Piper high school was the best!!!

FRESHMAN YEAR

In my freshman year my first day wad so confusing. My schedule was what confuse me the most. I could not understand it. I did not know when to go to lunch. It was not as fun as I thought High school. I had no friends because I moved from my area back in Margate. So all of the students were different. I wanted to go to Coconut Creek because all of my friends attended that school. My teachers seemed really strict and the rules were more stern than in middle school. The only thing cool was that we can wear what ever we pleased. I did not have to wear uniform. But after a while I got used to high school, I mad friends and learned to love the teachers and staff.

First day of school

On my first day of school I was amazed and excited to go to school. I can remember looking at all the wonderful things in the classroom. I could not wait to touch and experiment with all the things. My teacher was so nice and friendly. As soon as my grandfather left me I ran to go play with all of the toys and activity related things for children.I could not wait to get started that I didn't even tell them good bye.

Dancing...TA GT SPICE!!!!!

1. What is it ?

I think I'm fairly good at dancing. I love it,it's a great stress reliever. I did a lot of shows in the past and it has been enjoyed by a lot of viewers.

2. What can you do to prove you are good at it?

Well I did a lot of shows for Piper High school and other shows outside of school. I get a lot of fans and usually people would like me to give them lessons.

3. Do you have anything interesting to say about it?

With dancing I can really define my culture. It shows the true beauty of where I'm from and my roots when I dance. No one can say what I am when I am dancing because they can see through my dancing. The outfits are also marvelous to look at. Everyone loves the colors and variety.

Madz birthday on Friday

On Friday Madhuri Dixit a famous indian actress will be celebrating her birthday. Born on May 15th 1967 in Bombay, India . She will be turning 42 this year and still looking marvelous. Her fame started when she was a little girl doing films. She adores her work and is also famous for her dancing. She won a lot of movie awards for the movie Devdas and recently was in a film called Aja Nachle. She is one of my favorite actress. I hope she has a wonderful birthday and many more to come.

Free Haagen-Dazs on Tuesday

On Tuesday May 12th there will be free haagen Dazs ice cream being distributed to customers. They are giving away a free scoop of honey bee built flavor to their customers. From 4-8 pm. It gives everyone an taste of the bee colony that has vanished in America. You can pick up your free scoop at Pembroke mall or Dolphin Mall, it also features a visit be beekeepers.

Something Yellow

Sun flowers was my choice of a delightful yellow object. It is a famous flower and a joy to see for some people. It is almost like a symbol of the sun. The sunflower has alot of myths behind this mythical plant. It also used to symbolize a world free of nuclear weapons in the Ukraine. They planted sunflower seeds to celebrate that day. Also there is an mythical greek story that goes to how the sunflower became the sunflower. It was about a goddess looking at her lover starring at the sun. She started to grieve and she became the sunflower. Here is an inspirational little poem that goes along with the sunflower I found:

Weston Boy Scout who died on 20-mile hike

Last week a student by the name of Micheal. He was a student of Nova high school. It was sad that his parents had to deal with such a young death. He was only 17 years old when he passed away. He collapsed while taking a hike in National Park. The Park Ranger claims that it might have been from a medical condition. It appeared like he was having a hard time breathing and he stopped to rest and he stopped breathing and died. They tried to save him with CPR but nothing could have saved him. It was too late.

I am afraid of the dark. I can't be alone in the dark. I must have someone with me.

One day a girl by the name of Gloria was having a horrible morning.It seemed like everything was going wrong. Her job was not stable, her morgage was late and her car payments were not in. The only thing that made her happy was her baby girl. Unfortunatlly the only reason everything was going wrong was because her daughter was very ill and could possibly die unless she got an heart transplant. What could she have possibly done? she really loved her daughter and she tried to do what ever it takes to make her happy. Her daughter was her only kind of family. On that morning the phone was ringing off the hook for all the people that she owed money to, but instead of paying attension she was focused on the doctor's call so she can save her daughter. The doctor would not call so she decided to take her daughter to a church. She felt that her daughter needed all the help they can and god felt like the one closest to her. After she attended the church session. She got a call from the doctor stating that she got a donor and her life can possibly saved. Gloria's prayers were answered. When she looked over to her daughter her daughter was glowing.She just looked at her daughter at how beautifully she glowed like an Angel.

Everyone was suprised to know that Aishwariya made it to an american magazine cover.The basic point was to let american viewers know about how popular she is in India and that she would be seen in American shoes and commercials soon.She is known as the most beautiful woman on earth. Some in America may agree to that comment. She is seen in Bride and prejiduce and loreal commercials. She will continue to act in famous American and indian Films.

Interesting story

This story is about an improvement for women in Saudi Arabia.The new law in Saudi Arabia bands men from marrying any woman under the age of 18. So far an 50 year old man had divorced his 8 year old wife. They claimed that the girls under the age of 18 is not fit to take care of a family. It is suprising that girls at a young age were being married to these men.

senior regret

The one thing I regret this year is not participating in homecoming or attending the homecoming dance. I didn't get to see what it's like to have a school dance or get a preety dress to go in. I wanted to have a date and go out with all my friends and enjoy my senior homecoming. I missed out on the excitment of homecoming king and queen. It's one of the have-to do things of your senior year in high school. The money was an issue, but maybe if I was in no financial problem i would have attended.

A princess story

One day in an island far far away there was a beautiful princess. Her mother was making a fuss over her big birthday bash for her sixteenth birthday. LENA!!! her mom yelled."Why are you not getting ready for your party". After weeks of preparation the least on Lena's mind now was her and how she wanted to look. As she got ready to put on her cloths she realized that something was missing. Her Tiara was gone. She searched everywhere,but could not find it anywhere. Where could it be? She had the tiara since she was a little girl and she wasn't about to leave her room without it. There was also no way she could tell her mom that she lost her Tiara. It was two minutes till her opening ceremony and she could not find it so she began to weep. Her mom came in and asked what was wrong. She told her mom even though she knew that it might hurt her feelings. But then instead of her mom getting mad she took out A beautiful shimmering crown and said to her daughter on this day we hand down the crown in the family, you no longer need the little tiara anymore. You are the upcoming queen of the island and can no longer be seen as the little princess.

Extravigant Jewelry

This is extravagant jewelry seen in the movie jodhaa and Akbar ( a bollywood movie). Through out the movie the actors had to wear rich cloths to portray what it was like in the past royalty in India. All of the pearls,emeralds and gold is real. In all the scenes the main character Aishwariya Rai was seen wearing something similar to this piece of jewelry. Nowadays most women only wear this type of jewelry to important events mainly there wedding. As you can see it is very rich and tradtional for people of this culture.

Free the children

In broward county 11 schools have raised money for children in kenya. They have tried dozens of ways to raise money. The students in broward county finally reach there goal. They can see to the schools being built in kenya. They participated in walk a tons,donations and bake sales. In all everyone has raised $93,450.14 . The idea of this amazing project came from a one of the news anchors to raise the money in memory of his 4 year old son who died in an accident. This story is important because we are one of the schools who contributed in this project.YEAAA PIPER!!!!

I'm looking foward to becoming a nurse then continuing my education as a pediatrition. I can't wait to show my parents that I can do anything I put my mind to. I can't wait to give my parents all the good things in life and be rewarded in life.

I'm preparing to study and get a good job to get on my way. I can't slack off or else I might not be able to make it.

Chutney show

On May 9th of the coming Chutney show. Deviya and Shena were on their way to the chutney show to celebrate their anti-prom party. Prom is a traditional event for highschool and you usually take a guess. Shena decided to take one of her best friends Robbie. But as for Deviya her boyfriend was broke.But Deviya was so persistant on her boyfriend coming to visit and have fun at the show. So she had to find some sneaky way to get him in through the gate and not get into trouble. All of a sudden she got a striking idea. "Dahlwattie's Roti shop" made her smile so wide. "Guys I have an idea" said Deviya."Please let it not be a stupid idea of yours to get your boyfriend in here" said Shena.But Deviya said "No No gyal, we can help Dhalwattie over there with the cooking me, you and Robbie". "Okay well let's go see what we can do" said Shena. Dhalwattie gave them a strange look but she was preety sure that they were the helpers. So she gave them the chef's uniforms and they were on their way. Now they were begining to stir up an idea to help Dev get through the gate. Then Robbie got an idea. "I will tell her I left some equipment in my truck and give my braclet to Dev"said Robbie."Good thinking bai, now we gona be on our way to celebrating" replied the girls. So Robbie was on his way. As he was about to leave Dhalwattie said "aii bai you nah do nothing stay right here and finish your cookin. Let one of them gyal go and get the stuff". So Deviya decided to go. In the parking lot her hand was too big and the braclet could not come out of her hand. What was she going to do? So she decided to take off the chef's coat and let him wear it instead. On there way back Dhalwattie glanced at him and was furious " how did that gyal turn into a bai?"she exclaimed.Not too far away the real chefs were on their way.Then all of a sudden the other two chef's took off their coats and ran out of the kitchen. Along with Deviya and Dev they all ran followed by dhalwatti holding a belnah(a steel rolling pin,used to make roti'').

Gay Elephant

In this news article it's rare to find animals doing the unusual. But for some reason in Poland the politians are mad over an elephants sexual preference. They claim that Ninio a 14 year old elephant is gay. He only prefers males over females. The reason the politians are so angry is simply because they spent alot of money trying to bring the largest elephants to reproduce to make a herd.They spent 37 million dollars to bring those elephants. But since Ninio has not showed any intrest in the females. They have been angry over the money wasted. They will try to give him some time to become sexually mature and then decide what to do with him.

Police: 7-year-old foster child dies after possible hanging in Margate home

This article was very devastating. It is about a child that passed away at his foster home in Margate. No one is sure who was the cause of his death. When police arrived he was still breathing and was alive. But was later pronounced dead an hour later at the hospitol. The couple who has adopted the kid has no criminal record. So as of now they are trying to figure out who could be the cause of this poor child's death.

In this show "The Simpsons" it is not only funny but it helps me unwind my stress. All of the characters have their own unique qualites. Simpson(as seen in the white shirt) is the main character. He is funny but has a strong feelings for his family. He has three children :Lisa, Bart and Maggie. He loves his family and would do anything for them. This show also has other characters that will make you laugh and is the perfect entertainment after a hard day of work. Of all the characters ,Lisa is my favorite character because she is the smartest and she fixes all of their problems. If I was to one day meet Lisa Simpson I would ask her "how do you put up with bart as your brother?".I for one would never be able to handle him.

The change in a relationship view

One beautiful day a Guyanese girl, named Alisha was shopping at a mall. . The funny thing is they both did not know each other but he always had something against guyanese girls. As he was checking out shoes he glanced over and took a look at Alisha. He was stunned and liked what he saw. What he didn't know was her home country. So he began a conversation with her and started to really like this girl. When she asked for her name she said Alisha. But the one and only woman that captured his heart was mystical Radha. Hi luvversz!!! My name is Alliea. At the moment I am a Senior and cannot wait to graudate and start my life. My main goal in life is to become successful. I have dreams of becoming a Pediatrician, because I love little children. My roots originate from a country in South America known as Guyana. I lived there for a majority of my life and migrated to Florida with my family when I was only 10. I've been in quite a few shows already and they all have been major successes. One can describe my personality as sweet, caring and always there to lend a helping hand. I have a sensible head on my shoulders and prefer to be a leader, rather than a follower. I currently live at home with my mother, father and younger sister. We're a peaceful family and my mom is practically like my best friend. At the moment my life is going pretty good, except for unexpected turbulence that happens to come my way every now and than.
